Solar Power and Its Impact on Fire Protection

The National Association of State Fire Marshalls has formed an initiative to bridge the safety gap between conventional fire prevention practices, building codes, and fire suppression techniques including the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar power. International Code Council Conference in Rochester, NY

Klausbruckner & Associates attended the biannual International Code council conference in Rochester, NY, USA. Since the changes in the political climate in Sacramento in recent years, California has become very active in the International Fire and Building Codes. Nowhere has this change been more marked than in the number of contingents present from California at the International Code Council Code Development hearings in May 2007 in Rochester, New York.
