OSHA has adopted GHS, the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals. On March 20, 2012, OSHA Director Dr. David Michaels announced the revision to the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), labeled as ‘HazCom 2012’.
